For Animal Get Involved By An Orange Or Custom Design T-shirt

Do you just love animals and want to do your part in protecting them? The month of April is Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Month. This is in honor of the signing of the charter of the ASPCA in 1866. Throughout the country buildings and landmarks will be lighting up in the signature color and Going Orange for Animals. Each year, four million cats and dogs are euthanized in shelters across the countrythats about one animal every eight seconds. We can all help by raising awareness; spaying or neutering your pet is single most important thing you can do to help prevent animal cruelty and the unnecessary deaths of healthy cats and dogs.

If you want to get involved, you can just wear an orange t-shirt or you can design a custom t-shirt of your own. There are several site out there you can use to create
custom t-shirts, but the best one I have found is LoveThoseshirts.com. They have several different styles of shirts, many of them in orange. Also, you can customize your own text to say what you really want and they have many animal pictures to choose from. Making your own custom t-shirts, doesnt actually save them of coarse, but it does raise awareness and that is where it starts.

In 2009 the National Spay/Neuter Tour, the ASPCA spayed or neutered more than 31,000 cats and dogs in New York Citys five boroughs alonedramatically decreasing the number of unwanted animals entering New York City shelters. We need more of the same all over the country. We can change things for our furry friends, if enough of us fight for them. I have designed custom t-shirts for the cause and handed them out to local pet shops and shelters hoping to get more people involved. You can help to prevent the deaths or abuse of countless animals too. Just think, if you help to get only one animal spayed or neutered, you are preventing possible future animals that could end up on the streets to fend for them selves. These animals are at high risk for disease, predation, being ran over, or abusive human behavior. One person can make a difference.
